DOLO was conceived as an exploration of furniture beyond conventional definitions. Rather than prescribing a specific function, it invites users to sit, lean, rest, gather, or interact with it in their own way. Its simple, open-ended form encourages different modes of use while creating opportunities for interaction and conversation. Constructed from a lightweight polystyrene foam core and reinforced with fiberglass, DOLO combines structural strength with ease of movement. The project questions what furniture needs to be and explores how the relationship between people and objects can be shaped through use.
